A Grandview Heights Success Story.

First elected in 2001 as a write-in against 8 other candidates, I became Council President just 2 years later, serving 2 terms in that role. I have chaired every single committee during my tenure, served many years on Planning Commission, worked with 3 different Mayors and nearly 30 different Council Members over the years.

As a 6-time incumbent, I am by far the most experienced and qualified candidate on the ballot.

The city has evolved into an iconic destination in the region, and that's no accident. I remain determined to ensuring that we maintain the highest standards for our Police, Fire, Parks/Rec, and Service Departments. My strong focus on city planning combined with progressive redevelopment of our obsolete industrial zones has been a durable and reliable solution for the continued future of Grandview Heights. I have a proven track record on fiscal strength with relevant, effective, and sensible legislative measures for our community. I'm not one to get distracted by negative politics, social populism, or hype.

PROVEN RESULTS

Continuous Improvement.

Infrastructure investments, re-development, fantastic city services, and a quiet but mighty identity have been a staple of my tenure for the City. Improved public parks, the new pool, the new Parks/Rec facility, new Service and Public Works facility, and our new City Hall have all been completed under my leadership. But I'm not alone in this success - I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to my city colleagues and the remarkable support of our community - the results tell the story.

Hello, I'm Anthony Panzera, and I'm running for my 7th consecutive term on City Council. I was born and raised in Grandview Heights, graduated from GHHS in 1987, and I've lived here all of my 56 years. As a 6-term incumbent, my community dedication speaks for itself.

I have proven my qualifications over the past generation with steady, pragmatic, and consistent leadership for our city. I ask for your vote for me to continue the great work that has transformed Grandview Heights into a regionally iconic destination to live, work, and visit.

I’m proud to have led the effort to fund and build our new City Hall, which will house Fire, Police, and Administrative offices. This was a goal I set in my first term, and after years of persistence, it has finally come to life. While I championed the project, it became reality thanks to the support of our community, my colleagues, former Planning Director P'liz Koelker, former Mayor Ray DeGraw, former Administrative Director Patrik Bowman, former Finance Director Bob Dvoraczky, and the talented team led by Erdy McHenry and GC Ruscilli. Special thanks to Ben Anthony for his leadership on Issue 32, the $25M bond issue approved by voters in 2022—without which this milestone would not have been possible.
